Rose (Rosalie) Lapeyrouse -Portier:  

*My parents moved from Brownsville to Houma, Louisiana on Aug.17th, 1963 - my senior year. I graduated from St. Joseph Benedictine High School in 1964. Bernard Portier and I were married in 1970. We had Tiffany Marie Cecile in 1972, (graduate from Nicholls State University-1995). Ray-Bernard was born 1975 (He earned a BS in Chemistry, an Associative Degree in Pharmaceuticals in his earlier years. On May 15th, 2007 he earned three additional degrees all at one time: Doctor of Osteopathy, a Masters in Public Health, and Masters in Hospital Administration. He is a Lieutenant in the US Navy. He was in Japan for 6 years but received his new station Sept. 2013 with his wife in Washington State). In 1979 our 2 pound 3 ounce premature baby, Travis Luke, was born 1979 . Although he remained in the hospital in New Orleans for 3 months, he has no handicaps. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME. Travis is a successful businessman with California Aquatics in San Diego , CA.
